We left thursday morning after we loaded onto Ricky's trailer.

Stevie caught up with us on the highway and we convoyed thogether the rest of the way
We arrived at three pm and didn't waste any time hitting the trail.

It wasn't long before my hood was up. The fan relay went out so we wired the fan direct.......

We ran wet and wild for a little warmup.....

The exit poses a little challenge......

Then we kept going to jeff's ledges....

I like taking this line......

We ended the day and went to get something to eat. too bad everything closes by nine.....ate some beef jerky and crashed out.
Friday we left out by ten and rode to the backside of the mountain. We headed right over and ran upper Slim's slope.

Not far in Ricky found an optional line, but it just wouldn't go...

The obstacles were non stop and you really had to stay on top of a good line to setup for the next one....

this one was really eating my lunch.....

We stopped at the top for some lunch....Ricky had hot ham n cheese and i had some fried chicken on the manifold....

Ricky's rig was unstoppable and ran almost every optional line....

We played hard all day and only broke one rear axle that day. I installed another axle and we were ready for another day......
Saturday we ran with the fwdfwd club and ran snake pit. we started the day with the parade through downtown and threw candy to the kids that lined the street. didn't get many pictures of this day. We ran with Grape ape, Chip in the boobicon, Ricky in the Rickmil mog buggy and several others. I broke an axle again and we found an easier way to get the broken pieces out. Grape winched me on the side and all the shrapnel cam right out.....

The trail hadn't been run in a long time so Eric got appointed to plw the trail in the Grape ape. Glad he got all the spiders and not me.....
We ended the day early and headed to the fairgrounds for an enchilada dinner and a raffle. got a few shirts and hats, stickers and a six foot tree saver strap. ran around after the raffle and bought another spare axleshaft for the next day's run.
Sunday we met up with some others to run the redneck millionaire blvd section of the knob gobbler.

It's a good drop into the trail. To acces the lower section you have to lower yourself down by winch. It is way crazy and maybe try that section next time we're out......

I was behind Chip so got to watch his line. Some of the rocks were tumbling as you drove over them so the line was different for every rig.

This yellow buggy was awesome and tried a lot of optional lines. The 39.5's were too small for the rig and it dragged the diffs everywhere.

This one was called yeagerbilt. Cool buggy and a cool guy. Thanks for the cutoff wheel and the electrical connections.....

He damaged a link and exited early.
This rock under Chip's jeep gave everyone fits. It is now moved down the trail another six feet.

I managed to put the rockslider on it and pivoted around it.

The trail was tough for everyone and was a heck of a challenge.

we loaded up monday morning and headed back without a problem. Had a great time.......
