I talked to a couple of the guys who won and said they are going to try and make every race. I see things only getting better. Like the way things have been changed for this year. Things move a bit faster and smoother. It'll only get better.Way to go Angie, Roland, and the staff for all you do.  Need to give a  to all the racers.

Is the end wall going to be moved again?  If not, we need to add more mud.

There will be more mud next time and we have an extended shut down next month...and a few other changes too.
The two pass system and a few tweaks on extractions have really smoothed out some of the other bumps..

You did a great job Roland!!  I had a blast and I agree what the two pass system works out great.  I know I don't have a fear of hitting the wall, but we these fast trucks getting faster, I don't want to see anyone get hurt.

Eric said he had the brake caliper off prior to the race.  Maybe he pushed the fluid out of the master cylinder or something cause he said he had almost no brakes at the end of that run.  He also stayed in the throttle well after the finish.  We will have a banner over the finish line for next month so everyone will know where the finish line is.  We also extend the shutdown and build some kind of runaway road....just in case...

Really like you commitment to safety. The two pass idea is great. Working breaks should be a must by any driver for his/her own safety. When a driver comes out of the pit they need to get off the throttle. Most do and thats great. All of you at SCOR should be commended for your efforts.

When all the stars align bad things can happen... this is why we are looking into further safe guards.

I like the two pass system that is now in place as well... Not one competitor skipped their optional second run either... which turned out to be important since the track got faster as the event progressed.

I also liked having the window washing done around the corner from the finish line so drivers were able to see better when driving through the pits.

I fully expect to see more competitors competing next month... I understand that another event was scheduled for the same day and that a lot of people that expected to compete were not finished with their trucks. With the different classes this year i think it's opened up for some great competition in all classes and some that had not kept up with the rule changes were exited to see where they now fit into and they will be building accordingly.

Can't wait for next moth... see y'all there. :beerbang

Finally decided to run my truck in the competition and had a blast. Hats off to you Roland, and you've got a great team of people helping you out as well :186:  I'm with everyone else. All brakes working properly on each corner if your running a factory style D44,D60,D70..etc axle are a must for safety reasons. Driveline brakes may be fine for trail rideing but not sure if enough for pedal to the metal competition. Rockwells use them front and rear plus big calipers and rotors so they might be ok. If i decided to change to Rocks i'd hold off on the swap until i had the dough for the four wheel disc option they have for them. Thats just me and my two cents though..lol  I tend to over do it  :183:  Looking forward to the rest of the season.

Pinon brakes are good, as long as they work. If you "think" you might have a problem fix it. We saw 2 trucks that ran the first race of the year that were leaking fuel. We told the drivers and they said it'll be okay. It would have sucked if their trucks had caught on fire and burned to the ground. One guy did fix his before he ran. Hats off to you Richard #69. Safety first is so important.

Please let an official, preferably a marshal, know if you see a a comp vehicle leaking fuel.  We will advise them that it needs to be fixed before they run.
